About Learning Boost via Zoom
New York City based Learning Boost via Zoom (LBZ) is an online tutoring program that brings creative and engaging methods to support the academic paths of students.
Founded by an experienced educator and the parent of an autistic child, LBZ believes that learning should be fun, and that every child — whether gifted, typical, or having learning differences — can be guided to excellence through confidence building and individualized support.
LBZ provides small group tutoring (2 to 4 students located in the United States) for Grades 1 to 10 in Math, English, Science, and French.

What is Learning Boost via Zoom (LBZ)?
Learning Boost via Zoom (LBZ) is a New York City–based online tutoring program that provides creative, engaging, small-group instruction to students in Grades 1–10. Classes are delivered live over Zoom in Math, English, Science, and French. Along with supporting your child's academic performance, our goal is to engage, motivate, build confidence and most importantly, shape your child's attitude towards learning.
What grades and subjects do you teach?
LBZ teaches students in Grades 1 to 10 across Math, English/Language Arts, Science, and French, including conversational French, Spanish, and Japanese language courses.
How many students are in each class?
Classes are small groups of 2 to 4 students, so every child gets individualized attention. A course runs only when at least 2 students are enrolled.
How are classes delivered?
All classes are delivered live and online via Zoom. Students join interactive, real-time sessions from home — there are no pre-recorded videos.
Where are your students located?
LBZ serves students located in the United States. Because classes are online, families can join from anywhere in the U.S.
How much do courses cost?
Most courses are $300 per month (one 90-minute session per week) or $175 per month (45-minute sessions). Register for 3 or more courses and receive $70 off; referrals earn a $30 credit for both the new and referring family.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. LBZ offers a free 20-minute consultation with no commitment. Request one through the registration form or by emailing learningboostviazoom@gmail.com.
Does LBZ support children with learning differences?
Absolutely. LBZ was founded by an experienced educator and the parent of an autistic child. Our philosophy is that every child — whether gifted, typical, or living with learning differences — can be guided to excellence through confidence-building and individualized support.
How do I register for a course?
Complete the registration form on this website or email learningboostviazoom@gmail.com with the course code(s), your child's name, and grade level. Invoices are sent to confirm placement; no payment is required until you receive an invoice.
When does Summer 2026 registration close?
Registration for Summer 2026 closes on June 30, 2026, with classes delivered in July and August.
