Learning Boost via Zoom (LBZ) is a New York City–based online tutoring program that provides creative, engaging, small-group instruction to students in Grades 1–12. Classes are delivered live over Zoom in Math, English, Science, and French. Along with supporting your child's academic performance, our goal is to engage, motivate, build confidence and most importantly, shape your child's attitude towards learning.

LBZ teaches students in Grades 1 to 12 across Math, English/Language Arts, Science, and French, including conversational French and Spanish language courses.

Classes are small groups of 2 to 4 students, so every child gets individualized attention. A course runs only when at least 2 students are enrolled.

All classes are delivered live and online via Zoom. Students join interactive, real-time sessions from home — there are no pre-recorded videos.

LBZ serves students located in the United States. Because classes are online, families can join from anywhere in the U.S.

Combined ELA/Math courses are billed monthly: $400 for Grades 1–4, $600 for Grades 5–7, $700 for Grades 8–9, and $850 for Grades 10–12. The four-week courses — Conversational French, Conversational Spanish, General Knowledge, and Brain Blitz — are $200 for the course; French and Spanish can also be taken by two people together for $350. Register for 3 or more courses and receive $70 off; referrals earn a $30 credit for both the new and referring family.

Absolutely. LBZ was founded by an experienced educator and the parent of an autistic child. Our philosophy is that every child — whether gifted, typical, or living with learning differences — can be guided to excellence through confidence-building and individualized support.

The Witching Hour is LBZ's free Halloween contest series for students in Grades 1–10, open to U.S. residents. Students enter writing, art, math, and film contests by Sunday, October 25, 2026, then join a live Halloween party on Zoom on Saturday, October 31, where winners are announced. Yes. Conversational French and Conversational Spanish can be taken as a Mommy & Me class or by two friends learning together. Each four-week course is $200 for one student or $350 for two people.
